• Good evening, Washington family. This is Principal Paul Travers with your weekly message.

    Thank you to all the Washingtonians who came out to support our flag football team on Friday and our students as they raced around campus for the Washington Fun Run this past Saturday. It was a wonderful showcase of wellness and movement!

    Just a reminder that next week is Spring Break. There will be no school for students, and classes will resume on Monday, April 21st.

    Here are the important events for this week:

    Monday & Tuesday: Our Golf Pathway will visit Gillespie Park for golf with First Tee.
    Tuesday:
    Third Quarter Awards Day. Invitations for students receiving awards were sent home last week.
    Report cards will be sent home.
    School-Based Leadership Team meeting at 3:00 PM in the library.
    Wednesday:
    SAS Showcase at 5:30 PM.
    3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will take their Reading Interim Assessment.
    Thursday: 5th graders will take their Science Interim Assessment.
    Friday: Field Day!
    Kindergarten through 2nd grade: 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM.
    3rd, 4th, and 5th grade: 12:00 PM - 2:15 PM.
    If you'd like to volunteer for Field Day, please contact your child's classroom teacher.
    Flag Football after school.
