This is Principal Paul Travers with your weekly message. Thank you to everyone who came out last week to participate in the Washington Elementary Farmers Market.
As a reminder, the Candy Gram sale is still ongoing. One Candy Gram costs $0.50. Candy Grams are a great way to send a sweet treat and a message to a fellow Washingtonian.
Upcoming Events:
- Monday, December 9th: Green for Grinch Day - Students are invited to wear green.
- Tuesday, December 10th: Holiday Headgear Day - Students are invited to wear their favorite holiday headgear.
- 4th and 5th graders: Field trip to the Greensboro History Museum
- Speed and Agility Pathway: Field trip to Proehlific Park
- SBLT Meeting: 3:00 PM in the Media Center
- Wednesday, December 11th: Winter Wonderland Day - Students are invited to wear blue and white.
- Thursday, December 12th: Favorite Holiday Character Day - Students are invited to dress as their favorite holiday character.
- Science Fair
- Friday, December 13th: Favorite Holiday Sweater Day - Students are invited to wear their favorite holiday sweater and the last day for Candy Gram sales
Health and Wellness Tip: Involve your kids in meal planning and preparation. This can make mealtime more fun and encourage healthy eating habits.

- Friday, December 20th: Pajama Day and Last Day of School Before Winter Break
