• Good evening, Washington Families,

This is principal Paul Travers with your weekly message.

As a reminder, we will only have school on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Students will be out of school for Thanksgiving break starting on Wednesday, November 27th – November 29th. Students will return to school on Monday, December 2nd.

Looking ahead the week of December 2nd will be Farm week at Washington. There will be multiple ways for students to participate. Parents can participate by joining your Washingtonians for lunch on December 5th. On this day, our cafeteria will be transformed into the Washington Street Farmers Market. Students will have an opportunity to experience a farmers’ market from inside of our cafeterias.

Your Weekly Health and wellness Tip for this week is: Did you know that gentle movement before and after meals helps stimulate your digestive system, improving the breakdown and absorption of food? This Thanksgiving let's make a family tradition of taking a family walk or playing a family football game before or after meals.

At Washington we Honor Community, Show Excellence, Think Critically, and Thrive Through Movement
