Good evening, Washington families,

This is Principal Paul Travers with you weekly message.

Last week was an amazing 1^st week of school. It was exciting to see so many of our Washingtonians excited about learning.

Tomorrow, Monday, September 2^nd, there will be not school in observance of Labor Day.

Be on the lookout for Monday folder coming home this Tuesday. Typically, Monday folders will come home each Monday. They will contain important information and student work.

On Tuesday you will find our Parent Student Handbook in your Washingtonians Monday Folder. Please read through and become familiar with our procedures and policies.

This Friday is Picture Day. Please complete picture day forms and send them into school with your Washingtonians.

Your weekly Health and Wellness Tip for this week is: Morning physical activity increases blood flow and oxygen to our brains. This prepares or brains to learn.

Looking ahead: September 10^th we will have our School Leadership Team Meeting. Mark your calendars for Back to School Night on September 11^th.
