    This is Principal Paul Travers with your weekly message.

    Thank you for all the Washingtonians who out to our second Summer Movie Night. We can wait to see more of you out this week. This week’s Summer Movie Nights Series will be showing Elemental. We will begin at 6pm and with fun food science experiments for dinner. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to setup in the cafeteria. We will start the movie at 7:00pm.

    Mark your calendars for August 22nd at 5:30pm for Open House. This is an opportunity for students and their families to come to the building, meet their teachers, and learn more about our school.

    You will receive a phone call during the week of August 11th notifying you of your Washingtonians classroom assignments for the 2024-2025 school year.

     

    As a reminder student who read (or are read to) for at least 600 minutes over summer break will receive a free ticket to one Kersey Valley Attraction (valid for general admission to Maize Adventure, Spooky Woods, or Kersey Valley Christmas). Minutes must be recorded in Beanstack by Friday, August 30th, to be eligible. Students can access Beanstack through the GCS Beanstack Landing Page by finding our school, entering their student ID number and eight-digit birthday, or by logging into Clever.com/in/GCS.
