Good evening, Washington families,
This is principal Paul Travers back with your last weekly message of 2024. I hope all of our Washingtonians are having a great winter break.
As a reminder students must read at least 300 minutes during winter break to earn the opportunity to win a prize!
Your Weekly Health and Wellness Tip for this week is: Healthy habits built now will last a lifetime. This year set family goals for more movement, nutritious food, and quality time together. Try creating a simple family wellness chart. On this chart you can track your daily steps, healthy food choices, and screen-free time. Try making small, consistent changes that will make a big difference in your overall well-being.
As a reminder, the first day back from break for students will be on Monday, January 6th. Our doors will open at 7:25am for students to enter and the late bell rings as 7:45am.
As we look forward to the New Year, I want to thank the Washington Community for your commitment to making Washington Elementary the best possible place for our students to learn and grow. I am excited about how we have grown as a community and where we are headed.
At Washington we Honor Community, Show Excellence, Think Critically, and Thrive Through Movement.
