Good evening, Washington Families,
This is principal Paul Travers with your weekly message.
There will be not school tomorrow in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.
On Tuesday, January 21st we will continue with school-wide middle of the year DIBELS testing. Also on Tuesday, our 2nd graders will be taking their Math NWEA assessment.
On Wednesday, our 5th graders will be taking their math Interim Assessment and our Recess Champions will be visited by The Greensboro Swarm.
On Thursday, our 1st graders will be taking their math NWEA assessment and select students from 3rd – 5th grade will meet with The Distinguished Young Women of North Carolina for a Health and Wellness session.
This Friday our Washingtonians will be taking their class pictures, 3rd – 5th graders will be taking their Math NWEA assessment, and it is also the end of the 2nd quarter.
Looking ahead, next Monday, January 27th is a Teacher Workday, there will be no school for students on this day.
