• Good evening, Washington families!

This is principal Paul Travers with your weekly message.

This week is National School Counselors Week, and we want to express our sincere appreciation for our incredible school counselor, Mrs. Taylor. We encourage all Washingtonians to bring a letter to school for Mrs. Taylor to show your gratitude for her hard work and dedication.

We're looking for volunteers to share your careers with 3rd-5th graders or lead fun career activities for K-2nd. Your weekly Health and Wellness tip for this week is: Encourage mindful use of technology by setting limits on screen time, especially before bed. Blue light emitted from screens can interfere with sleep patterns.

Looking ahead, next Monday we will have an Event Planner join us for our Career Café, and our fifth-grade students will participate in a Fire and Safety class during their specials on February 13th.

At Washington, we Honor Community, Show Excellence and Think Critically
