Mrs. Kate Hudson

I am an alumna of James Madison University and have been an art educator since 2001. I began my career at a small private PreK-8 school in Columbia, MD. After relocating to North Carolina, I spent seven years teaching middle school before moving to Southern in 2011. In 2018, I expanded my role to include Academy Director while continuing to teach visual art. Additionally, I serve as the Service Learning Coordinator at our school. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband, four children, and two lively dogs. I am also active in my church and engage in professional art opportunities when time permits.
