Hello everyone!

My name is Ms. Marroquin, and I'm a very proud ESL teacher at Southern Guilford. I come from Lima, Peru. Peru is a country in South America that is very well known because of its delicious cuisine, beautiful landscapes, friendly people and ancient architecture like Machu Picchu!

I have been teaching for more than twenty years. I taught English in my country and Spanish and English as a Second Language in various schools in North Carolina. Teaching is my passion because I love sharing knowledge and learning from my students who come from different parts of the world.

Since English is not my first language, I know how challenging and rewarding it can be to learn a new language. I've experienced the same struggles you might face, but don't worry! We'll work through these challenges together, and I'm here to help you every step of the way.
