Hello! I am Mrs. Taylor and I began teaching math at Southern Guilford High School in 2018. I look forward to teaching math in an engaging and relevant manner that will cause a desire for success in my students. Before coming to Southern Guilford I taught for GCS three years at Dean Pruette Scale in High Point. With a desire to see students succeed and develop as scholars I began my teaching career at GTCC in Jamestown as an Assistant Professor in the Developmental Math department for five years. The techniques used in my GTCC math classes have carried me into my GCS classrooms with a strong desire to cause students to step up to the challenge before them with tools to be successful. My hope is to cause students to love math by the time they leave my classes.

On a personal note, I am married to my high school sweetheart, and together we share 3 children which we are very proud of. Each of my children are teachers or in education, as are their spouses. As a family, we enjoy traveling together, hiking and relaxing in the mountains of North Carolina.
