In Beginning Art we will focus on learning the elements and principles and how to apply them.  We will explore different art techniques, art styles, mediums and artists.  Students come to this class with different starting points-- some are experienced artists who always have a sketchbook in-hand while others haven't had art since elementary school.  This class is for anyone interested in creating. 

Students in this class are graded on the skill being taught, use of creativity and the amount of effort they put into their work.  Not every student is a natural artist, and that is ok--- everyone can succeed if they are willing to put in the work.
