Dr. Fabby Williams

As school support officer, Dr. Fabby Williams supervises middle and high school principals and their schools in his learning community.

Prior to being named school support fficer, Williams served as principal of Northeast Guilford High school for five years. During that time, the school met and exceeded growth each year, and had a graduation rate of 92% in 2016. In the 2016-17 school year, Northeast Guilford High also had the eleventh-highest growth index in the state of North Carolina.

Before joining Guilford County Schools, Williams served as principal in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and Chicago Public schools. He has a record of accomplishments for school transformation and student achievement.

Williams has served as a high school special education teacher, a guidance counselor, an assistant principal, and administrator for student services.

Williams received his undergraduate degree in Social Work from Winthrop University. He also received a Masters of Education, and a Masters of Educational Leadership from Winthrop University. In addition, he received a Specialist in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Williams also received a Specialist Degree and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Wingate University.
