The Building Services Department aims to provide a safe and comfortable environment that is conducive to learning. We strive to maintain all Guilford County School sites to remain in the best condition possible. We also work to maintain our buildings in the most cost effective way by processing work orders in a timely manner. The large volume of work orders is managed by our work order system, ARCHIBUS, and is electronically available to all schools. In addition to routine work orders, we also manage small scale service contracts and construction projects.

The GCS Building Services comprises of a vast area of responsibilities ranging from repairs to small renovations.  Our services include the following:
