This week, we celebrate Aaliya Boddie, who not only showcased her talent on the court but also delivered a thrilling performance in a nail-biting game against Dudley High School. Aaliya Boddie hit the game-winning shot, demonstrating poise and skill in a pressure-packed moment.

In addition to her standout performance against Dudley, Aaliya Boddie averaged an impressive 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks over two games in the HAECO Basketball Tournament held at the Special Events Center in the Greensboro Coliseum. Her contributions were vital to her team’s success during the tournament.

Head Women’s Basketball Coach Ren Stewart praised her, stating, "Aaliya Boddie is a remarkable freshman who has already demonstrated great maturity and exceptional teamwork on the court. Despite being new to the high school level, she plays with a calmness and confidence that belies her age. It’s clear to me that she possesses the skills and mindset to compete at a high level. What stands out most is her humility; she genuinely focuses on uplifting her teammates and making those around her better. I’m excited to see her growth and contributions to our program."
