• High School Celebrates Bradley Yokum as Athlete of the Week Ragsdale

     

    Ragsdale High School is proud to announce that Bradley Yokum has been named the Athlete of the Week for his outstanding achievements in wrestling. Bradley, a senior at Ragsdale, recently claimed victory in the 113-weight class at the Guilford County Championship. This impressive accomplishment adds to his undefeated record this year, showcasing his exceptional skills and dedication to the sport.

     

    Bradley's success in wrestling is a testament to his hard work and perseverance. Last season, he finished third in the state championship, demonstrating his determination to continuously improve and excel in his athletic endeavors. His commitment to his sport is truly commendable.

     

    Not only is Bradley a remarkable athlete, but he also excels in academics. He is a member of the National Honor Society, exemplifying his dedication to his studies and his commitment to maintaining a well-rounded lifestyle. Bradley's ability to balance his athletic and academic pursuits is truly admirable.

    Coach Nelson’s pride in Bradley’s accomplishments is a testament to the close bond they have developed, and belief Coach Nelson has in Bradley’s potential.  It is a great feeling for any coach to see their athletes succeed and make progress in their chosen sport.  Coach Nelson will undoubtedly be there to cheer Bradley on, provide guidance when needed and celebrate his achievements throughout the season.
