Ragsdale High School is thrilled to announce that senior running back Fabian Diggs has been named the Ragsdale Athletics Athlete of the Week. His outstanding performance in last week's nail-biting 21-20 victory over Glenn High School earned him this well-deserved recognition.

Fabian showcased his exceptional skills on the field, carrying the ball 31 times for an impressive total of 143 yards. He played a pivotal role in the victory by scoring the decisive touchdown with just 6:43 left on the clock, solidifying his status as a key player for the Tigers.

Crucially, the offensive line also played a significant role in the win, opening up holes and providing the necessary protection that allowed Fabian to excel. Their teamwork and effort were instrumental in the team's success, highlighting the importance of collaboration on the field.

Under Fabian's leadership and determination, the varsity football team is off to a remarkable 2-0 start, a feat that hasn't been accomplished since 2012. His hard work, dedication, and athleticism are shining examples for his teammates and the entire Ragsdale community.

"For the second week in the row, Fabian Diggs carried the Ragsdale Football Team on offense to victory.  He has amassed over half his total production (625 rushing yards) in two games.  He is the focal point offensively and he  continues to find a way to gain positive yards."  said Antwon Stevenson, head coach of the Ragsdale varsity football team.
