Fiddle Ensemble

Vespa Strings learns and performs music for string instruments. We specialize in fiddle music, but also play blues, jazz, pop, and rock and roll music. Vespa Strings is open to any Lincoln student who has experience playing bowed strings (orchestral) or rhythm strings (guitar, ukulele, banjo, mandolin). Vespa Strings plays fiddle music from many traditions, including American, Celtic, Jazz, Rock, Blues, and World music styles.   Violin, viola, cello, and bass students should know how to: correctly hold their instruments and bows and identify their open strings. Guitar, ukulele, and piano students should know how to: correctly hold their instruments, correctly echo rhythm patterns, and identify pitches on their instrument. There are no fees to join Vespa Strings.

The club will meet on Wednesdays at 8:10 AM in room 301.
