FLL LEGO Robotics & Sumobots

  • FLL Lego Robotics is open to the students here at the Academy at Lincoln. The Lego Robotics teams involve students working with a team to create an innovation project and create a robot that will work and complete missions and compete in competitions against other teams here at the school as well as from all over the city and state. 

    Elementary FLL Robotics will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:15 to 6 pm in Room 105 beginning on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024.
     
    Middle FLL Robotics will meet in Room 105 on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room 105. 
     
    Teams are limited to 10 students. Contact Mr. Brown for information on joining a team.
     
    SumoBots will begin in the spring after the Lego Robotics and Battle of the Books seasons conclude. 
     
    SumoBots will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8AM in the media center beginning on March 12, 2025.
     
    Club membership is limited to 30 students and priority will be given to those who did not have an opportunity to participate in Lego Robotics or Nehemiah STEM club.

    Please note: For the 2024-2025 school year, the club cannot accommodate any more students. If you would like to volunteer to coach a team so that we can expand, please contact Mr. Brown. If we are able to create another team, it will be announced. Due to the volume of requests, please refrain from further inquiries at this time.
