Dr. Patrick Preudhomme Sr.

I was born in Boston, but I have also lived in St. Lucia, Florida, Oregon, Colorado, and North Carolina.  When we arrived in North Carolina, twenty-three years ago, I started my education career teaching high school science and history courses in Alamance County.  I have studied Economics, Engineering, and Education (the three E’s), and I completed a PhD in Educational Studies and Cultural Foundations at UNCG where three other members of the family also studied.  My wife and I have been blessed with seven children, two of whom were born in North Carolina (true Tarheels).  Four of our adult children are married, and we currently have seven grandchildren.  My hobbies include gardening, beekeeping, and disc golf and my personal claim to fame is that I played in the Disc Golf World Championships in 2012, when they were held in Charlotte.
