Welcome, Scholars!

I am pleased to serve as your teacher this year! I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, but I have been in North Carolina since 2010. I am a proud alumna of the illustrious Winston-Salem State University, where I received my BA in Secondary English Education. I began teaching in 2015 and have experience teaching all levels of high school English Language Arts.

My husband and I are proud parents of two curious and energetic boys and a spoiled dog named Bella. Our family enjoys traveling and making memories. My favorite things are sushi, Starbucks, yoga, and vacationing in places with lots of sand.
