Mrs. Terri Sims Starling

Hello & Welcome GTCC Middle College/Greensboro Students & Families. My name is Mrs. Terri Sims and I am honored to serve as your School Social Worker for the 2023-2024 School Year. I am assigned to GTCC Middle College/Greensboro on Monday's between 9am and 4:30pm. Guilford County Schools employs School Social Workers to provide a link between homes, schools, and communities. School Social Workers promote and support educational goals and provide a variety of direct and indirect services to assist students and families. These servcies may inlcude: dropout prevention, homelessness, social services needs, mental health, and referrals to outside agencies and community resources. As part of the educational team, School Social Workers promote and support students' academic success as well as their social and motional needs.
