My name is Greta Martin, and I am from Trinity NC. I am extremely passionate about my family, students and education. I am the proud mom of a wonderful son, two beautiful daughters and two adorable grandchildren. My career as an educator in Guilford County began over 24 years ago.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. I later pursued further studies in the Education program at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. My Master’s Degree is in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in History and I also received my NC K-12 Administrative License from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
I believe that, with hard work and perseverance, we can make a difference in the lives of all children. Keeping the atmosphere positive is the key to success as well as keeping the lines of communication open among staff, students, and parents. I strongly feel that teamwork is the ultimate way a school can be successful in reaching the goal of helping a child attain his or her full potential.
I strive to be a very visible assistant principal who believes that the best part of my job is visiting the students in all areas of the school. My motto is "stay positive, maintain communication, and do the right thing."
GO RAMS!
