NWHS Deca 2024-2025

Deca is the Business and Marketing Club at NWHS. 

• We compete 3 times a year at District, State and International levels. (This is not required for members) 
• Awarded 'NC Chapter of Distinction'  for 2 years in a row at Deca State Competition
• Awarded 'Thrive' Chapter level for promotion and community service campaigns for 2 years in a row at Deca State Competition
• 152 members strong

We meet approximately weekly during WIN.  

Community Service (from 24-25).

• Collected, packed and donated 690 snack bags for the Guilford Backpack Ministry
• Collected 131 boxes of cereal for the Guilford Backpack Ministry
• Provided clothes, shoes and toys for 'Adopt A Child' program at Christmas
• Volunteered at Oak Ridge Elementary STEMFEST
