Hello Vikings! 

I am going into my fourth year here at Northwest. I am here as a resource, an advocate, and a champion for all students, staff and families. If there's anything I can do to support you, do not hesitate to reach out!

Bio: 

I was born and raised in Greensboro, NC and am a product of Guilford County Schools. I graduated from Western Guilford High School then pursued a BS in Secondary History Education from North Carolina A&T State University (Aggie Pride). Prior to graduation, I had the pleasure of student teaching right here at Northwest High School with an amazing teacher in the Social Studies department. After graduation, I secured my first teaching position at Allen Middle School, teaching 7^th grade Social Studies. I then taught at Hairston Middle School (7^th SS), Western Guilford High School (Civics & Economics and World History), Southwest Middle School (8^th SS), and completed a principal internship at Foust Elementary School. In addition to teaching, parenting, and coaching Cheer, I earned two master’s degrees: MS in Adult Education (NC A&T) and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership (High Point University Leadership Academy, Cohort IV).

My husband and I have three adorable children, a boxer puppy, and an outdoor cat. I am a proud CODA (Child of a Deaf Adult) and fluent in American Sign-Language. I love listening to music, dancing, and playing video games (mostly Sims4 on PC). I enjoy talking, laughing, and having a good time. 

I am excited about the 2024-2025 school year and look forward to getting to know and working with each of you!
