Ms. Thomas Physical Education and Health

Let me introduce myself.

I have taught for 40 years of which 34 years have been at Northwest Guilford Middle School.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education, Health and Biology; Master of Education Degree in Health and Physical Education; and National Board Certification in Physical Education.

My duties at Northwest Middle School include Health/Physical Education Teacher, Department Head, Athletic Director, Soccer and Girls Basketball Coach.

My goal is to help students get a well rounded education of which Physical Education is an important part.

My mission is to assure that students will get exposure to a variety of activities in an effort to teach them the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle

When I am not at school I enjoy playing softball and basketball, relaxing at the pool, and venturing to new places.
