I am so excited to guide students on a journey of language exploration this year!

I fell in love with language at an early age, and I truly have a passion for words--I love how they allow humans to communicate and to share who we are with others. I am also a major geek for the technical aspects of language and enjoy teaching kids about how and why languages work they way they do (yes--that means grammar!). I look forward to sharing my passion with you all.

This is my 15th year at NWMS, and I am proud to be a Viking! I am a local girl, having graduated from Page High School and attended High Point Univeristy for undergrad. As much as I love to travel, I am always happy to return home--I truly think North Carolina is among the most beautiful places in the world!
