My name is Mrs. Rao (rhymes with "wow") and I am excited to be teaching 8^th grade science at Northwest Middle School.

I am originally from Springfield, Ohio. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo and my master’s degree from UNCG. I have been teaching middle school in Guilford County since 2005.

I have a husband and three children that keep me busy when I am not teaching.

Your child only gets to have one 8^th grade science teacher and I am honored to be the one. I am looking forward to a phenomenal school year!
