Welcome to Southwest Guilford High School! We are so very happy you decided to become a Cowboy. We are a 4 x 4 block school, meaning you will take 4 classes in the fall and 4 new classes in the spring.  

Here are a couple of items you need to know prior to starting classes:

3. Counselors are assigned by grade level and alphabet for grades 10 – 12.  You can find all of the counseling related information on the website https://nc01910393.schoolwires.net/Page/87867 Counselors and teachers use Canvas for communication. Parents can join the students' Canvas as an Observer. 

4.  GCS uses Power School (NCEDCloud) for grades/attendance and students. Students use their student id to log in once they are assigned a student id. The instructions are NCED Cloud- Claim Account
