Ms. Tiara Glenn

Hi! My name is Tiara Glenn, and I am the 7th-grade counselor at Western Guilford Middle School. I graduated from Liberty University with my M.Ed in School Counseling in 2022 and earned my Bachelors degree from East Carolina University in 2019. I am excited to work alongside students and families, and I am committed to providing support throughout the school year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need assistance or resources. Responsibilities & Service

As a school counselor, I am dedicated to supporting students through academic advisement, social-emotional counseling, and college/career readiness. I work with students through individual and group counseling sessions, classroom guidance lessons (such as anti-bullying, career/college readiness, and administering the YouScience assessment), and restorative circles. I also collaborate with students, families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support and connect families with external services when necessary.

In addition to my counseling duties, I serve as the 504 Coordinator, Beta Club Advisor, and Head Softball Coach. Students are encouraged to join the WGMS Counseling Corner on Canvas, where we share many resources and important updates.
