Hello! My name is Monica Clark. I have been a teacher for 26 years and have been at Northwest for 19 of them. I love it here; Northwest is a great place to be! :)

I have a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in school administration. I am licensed to teach English/language arts in grades 6-12 and academically gifted in K-12. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher. 

My favorite hobbies are reading and working out (especially running). I couldn't possibly pick a favorite book, but if I had to, I would say Nine Stories (J.D. Salinger). I also enjoy cooking (and eating), watching sports, and hanging out with my family--especially my two dogs, Lulu and Mojo, who love hiking in the woods and playing fetch. 

I am the assistant coach for the cross country team.
