Congratulations to SEHS Alumnus Jacob Jenkins-Cowart!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news about one of our own! Jacob Jenkins-Cowart, a proud alumnus of SEHS, was drafted in the 8th round by the Miami Marlins. This is a tremendous achievement and a testament to Jacob’s hard work, dedication, and talent.

Another congratulations goes out to the Jenkins-Cowart family for their love and support throughout Jacob’s journey. What a dream!

Weekly Announcements

Falcon Families,

GCS will be operating on a two-hour delay tomorrow, January 15^th. Families, we understand that our schedule has been impacted by weather and there are currently no adjustments to our semester or testing plan. We will have 1^st and 3^rd block teacher made exams.

Important Updates:
- Doors will open at 11:00 am for students.
- Breakfast will not be served.
- Students will go straight to class.
- NO AM WEAVER-Students will go the media center.
- 1^st block teacher made exams will be from 11:25-12:19
- 3^rd block teacher made exams will be from 2:29-3:23
- We will have Learning Hub afterschool.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

Testing

EOC, GCFE, CTE, & Teacher Made Exams will occur Jan. 15 - 22. While testing is occurring, students will not be able to check out/leave early from a test site. Please plan accordingly if there are appointments or other obligations.

Jan. 16th - Regular School Day for All Students
- 2^nd & 3^rd Block Teacher-Made Exams
Jan. 17^{th -}EOC Exams

Jan. 23rd & Jan. 24^th - Makeup Exam Days

During exam days, students may not be dismissed before testing sessions conclude. State and Local board policy changes can change our exam schedule.
