Student Returns
Students needing to return materials to the school should drop them by the front office between 8am-4pm. Students should put their name on a post-it and stick the post-it to the inside cover of their book.
Distribution of Resources
We will be distributing materials specific to your students’ classes on Wednesday, January 27, from 2 – 6 pm. Your child’s teacher will inform your student to let them know if they have materials to pick up. The distribution will be for selected Math, English, and CTE courses. For material distribution, please enter at the baseball stadium entrance and drive toward the Performing Arts building. It will be a “Grab and Go” event and no one should leave their cars. You will exit by the Annex building on Woody Mill Road.
Senior Pictures
When: Wednesday, January 27
If you haven’t had your pictures made or need retakes, please sign up on the sign up genius link (attached). You are allowed to bring one person to help with wardrobe changes (you may have 3 changes) and last minutes touch-ups. You must wear a mask into the building and portrait session- arrive and leave through the back main entrance. Drape and Tux wear are sanitized between each student. We only accept Lifetouch portraits in the senior section of the yearbook, sitting fee is $10. Please don’t miss your chance to be in this first of its kind yearbook! Registration Event for Rising Freshmen
These events are to help families understand the transition process from elementary to middle, and middle to high school. Attendees will receive registration information that will overview the registration process and give helpful middle and high school tips for parents and students. Scholarship Opportunity
STATE EMPLOYEES CREDIT UNION SCHOLARSHIP
Deadline: February 22, 2021
The SECU People Helping People Scholarship is only available to graduating public high school seniors who are either members of SECU or the child of a parent/guardian who is a member of SECU. Must be a US citizen and plan on attend one of the 16 UNC system schools with a 2.5 gpa or higher. MUST file FASFA as part of the application.
