    Hello and welcome to Mr. McDowell's class/website/online realm. If you have not done so already, once you're done here, please head over to your course's respective Canvas page to join our Microsoft Teams classes, which we'll be using for orientation and video conferencing. Each course has its own Teams class, divided into channels for each period. Please make sure you head over there before classes start!

    I graduated from Western Carolina University (go Cats!) in 2007. This will be my eighth year at Northern Guilford High School, and I am proud to be a part of such an amazing staff. 2023-24 represents my 7th year teaching AP World History, and my first year teaching Economics & Personal Finance.
