Welcome to the School Counseling Department
GCS students in a crisis of any kind— anxiety, depression, abuse, suicidal thoughts, food insecurity, etc., are urged to call GCS Youth Crisis Hotline at 336-332-7295 to speak with a counselor. The hotline is open daily from 7 am until midnight. If there is an emergency, students should call 911.

The counseling office is open from 8:15 am until 4 pm.
If you are attending a community college/university in North Carolina, please request your final transcript through CFNC.org (same log in as the Residency Determination Services). This way transcripts will automatically be electronically delivered to their school by June 25. If you don’t remember your CFNC account or password contact your school counselor.
If you are attending a community college/university outside of North Carolina, please request your final transcript through ScribOrder. This way transcripts will automatically be electronically delivered to their school by June 25.
