Mrs. Leslie Kinard

Mrs. Leslie Kinard is returning to Ferndale Middle School on November 9, 2021, as its new Principal, replacing Mrs. LaToya Caesar, who will transfer to Greensboro College Middle College. Mrs. Kinard returns to GCS from Riverside High School in Durham N.C., where she has been since March. From February of 2019 to March of 2021 she was Principal of Ferndale Middle School. She also spent nearly two years as Principal of Thomasville High School in Davidson County. She holds a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University, a Master’s Degree in School Administration/Liberal Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Winston-Salem State University.
