GCS Summer 2024 Reading Challenge!

Read at Least 600 Minutes over Summer Break to Receive a Free Ticket to One Kersey Valley Attraction. (Tickets Can Be Used for General Admission to Maize Adventure, Spooky Woods, or Kersey Valley Christmas).
Requirements: Student Reads (or Is Read to) at Least 600 Minutes Between June 8 and August 25, 2024. Minutes Are Recorded in Beanstack by Friday, August 30, to Be Eligible.
Two Ways to Access Beanstack:
1. Go to the GCS Beanstack Landing Page and find your school. Enter your student ID number and 8 digit birthday.

2. Login to clever.com/in/GCS then click on the Beanstack icon to get started!

Please Note: Students May See an Interruption in Beanstack Access in Early August Due to School Rosters Being Transitioned to the New School Year. Any Minutes Read in August Can Be Logged in Beanstack After the First Day of School If Needed. Using the GCS Beanstack Landing Page to log in MIGHT prevent this disruption, but we're not sure. We are testing it as a possible solution.

Information can also be found on the B&N Kids' Page.
- Read any eight books this summer and record them in your Summer Reading Journal for Grades 1-6 (English or Español). Tell us which part of the book is your favorite, and why.
- Bring your completed journal to a Barnes & Noble store between July 1st and August 31st.
- Choose your FREE reading adventure from the book list featured on the journal.
Greensboro's Barnes & Noble is located at 3102 Northline Avenue in Friendly Center.

Nothing Bundt Cakes: Books & Bundts Monthly Reading Incentive Program
Nothing Bundt Cakes has a reading incentive program called Books & Bundts. PreK and Elementary students can receive a free bundtlet for each month they read 400+ minutes!
The Nothing Bundt Cakes' tracker will need to be used to turn in for the free bundtlet; there is a coupon bar code that will have to be scanned to redeem.
