Open Checkout Time

  • Monday - Friday: 7:25-7:55

     

    Students must bring a hall pass when they come to the library for morning checkout time.

    Mrs Betsy will be available in the mornings to assist students with choosing and checking out library books.

     

Checkout Policies

  • Prek and Kindergarten students may check out one book for one week.


    1st-2nd grade students may check out two books at a time and keep them for one week.


    3rd-5th grade students may check out up to two books and keep them for two weeks.


    Parents may check out up to five books at a time and keep them for one week. 

Overdue Book Policy

  • Students who have overdue materials are only allowed to check out one book until everything is returned.  They are asked to keep the book in the classroom until the overdue book is brought back.

    Overdue, lost or damaged book notices will be sent to parents via the students with interim reports and with report cards.

Lost/Damaged Book Policies

  • Damages :  Students who return  material that has been damaged (torn, written in, wet) will be fined $2.  They will only be allowed to check out one book until this fine is paid.

    Lost Books :  If a book is lost, students must pay a replacement fee.  Students will only be allowed to check out one book until the lost book is paid for. Lost book fees will depend on the cost of the book.
