This week: On Thursday, April 25th Peck Elementary Principal and Staff are inviting all students who are going to be attending Peck next year to a block party. The block party will start at 4pm on Peck's campus. Families will be able to meet the staff and get a tour of the school, while learning about Peck's instructional focus and new building. If Peck is your child's neighborhood school, we hope you will attend this Block Party.

Parents, please sign your child up for bus transportation if they will need it for next year. Student assignment has informed me that everyone should request transportation based on your neighborhood school unless your child has been offered adminission into a magnet school. Magnet selections for Foust and Peck have not been made and will only be made after all of Foust and Peck's neighborhood students have been accounted for.

In addition, the school reassignment window opens on May 1st via schoolmint. If you wish for your child to attend a school other than your neighborhood school you may request a reassignment to another neighborhood school. If you have questions about any of this, please contact the Student Assignment office at 336-370-8303. Hopefully this answers any questions that families may have about magnet selections for Foust and Peck.

Esta semana: El jueves 25 de abril, el director y el personal de la Escuela Primaria Peck están invitando a todos los estudiantes que asistirán a Peck el próximo año a una fiesta en la cuadra. La fiesta comenzará a las 4 p.m. en el campus de Peck. Las familias podrán conocer al personal y hacer un recorrido por la escuela, mientras aprenden sobre el enfoque de instrucción de Peck y el nuevo edificio. Las selecciones magnet para Foust y Peck no se han hecho y solo se harán después de que se hayan contabilizado todos los estudiantes del vecindario de Foust y Peck.

Además, la ventana de reasignación escolar se abre el 1 de mayo a través de schoolmint. Si desea que su hijo asista a una escuela que no sea la escuela de su vecindario, puede solicitar una reasignación a otra escuela del vecindario.
