Good evening MTA families! Here are this week's updates
This week we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week highlights the importance of living a healthy and drug-free life. Just like with Anti-Bullying Week, students will get to have different spirit days that remind us to keep ourselves drug-free.
On Monday, students are able to wear their favorite sweatshirt to show that they are not going to sweat drugs.
Tuesday is Pink Out day as we show our awareness of Breast Cancer and support for Breast Cancer survivors. Students are invited to wear something pink.
Wednesday K/1 students will have their PBIS celebration and can wear a costume to school. 2nd-5th graders will be showing that they are "Too Bright for Drugs" and students are asked to wear bright and shiny colors.
Thursday K/1 students will be thinking about their future being drug free and are asked to dress like what they want to be when they grow up. 2nd-5th grade students will have their PBIS celebration and can wear a school appropriate costume.
Friday is when we will all say YES to a healthy heart and body by wearing red.
Looking ahead, our 1st Quarter report card pickup and career night will be Nov. 14th from 5pm to 7pm. Please make sure you have had a conference with your child's teacher as students will not be able to receive their report card if you've not conferenced with their teacher.
We look forward to celebrating both Red Ribbon Week and our students' positive behavior this week. Remember that tomorrow, Monday, students will say "Don't sweat drugs" and will wear their favorite sweatshirt. Have a great evening!
