The Garden Club at Oak Hill is made up of students from 3rd to 5th grade who meet once a week to learn about how to grow lots of different flowers and vegetables.  These students are learning about the life cycle of plants, the pH of soil, how to compost, pollinators and much more.  In the spring of 2023, our students planted berry bushes that we hope will produce enough berries to share this spring and summer.  In the fall of 2023, we plan on planting garlic and onions to harvest this spring.  The garden club also helps maintain the many campus flower beds.  This fall we hope to plant many bulbs and bushes to create a welcoming environment for pollinators.
