Ms. Ana L. Perez was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She has lived in Germany, Okinawa, and in North Carolina for the last 17 years.She has three sons and two grandsons. Ms. Perez has a BA in Spanish from FSU, an MSA from UNCP, and an Ed.S from ECU.
Ms. Perez worked in Union Pines High School, in Moore County, Hoke County High School, and Scotland County High School as a Spanish teacher. She went on to be the Title III/ESL District Program Coordinator in Richmond County Schools; however, after four years in the Central Office she decided to go back to a school building as her dream is to one day become a High School Principal.
Ms. Perez comes to us from Lee County High School, where she spent the last two years as an Assistant Principal.
