Mrs. Mack

Mrs. Mack is a native of Brooklyn, NY. Mrs. Mack came to Greensboro, NC to attend THE North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary in Women’s Studies. Her desire and passion to work with children provided her with the opportunity to walk into one of the greatest careers in the world; Education (Teacher). Mrs. Mack taught as a master educator with over eight years of experience in the secondary classroom teaching Biology, Earth Science and IB Biology. She has taught here at Ben L. Smith High School for those years. She showed consistent growth in developing her teaching skills for herself and her students. Her motto is “Failure is an opportunity to grow”. She completed her certification with Guilford County School Alternative Licensure Track program where she was taught important skills to fulfill the role of a classroom teacher. Mrs. Mack was rewarded “Teacher of the Year” (2014) and “Distinguish Teacher” (2016). Her passion and desire to have a greater influence and impact on the lives of students, teachers, families, and the community empowered her to return to school to obtain her Master in Middle and Secondary Science Education and Post-Master’s in School Administration from UNCG. Mrs. Mack had the opportunity to become the Dean of Students at Smith and quickly transitioned into her new role as an Assistant Principal. She is excited to continue to be part of the Smith Family.
Outside of her school responsibilities and duties, Mrs. Mack enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a wife and has been blessed with 4 beautiful children.
