Troy Lawson Scholarship
We, at the Troy Lawson Scholarship Fund, honor Mr. Lawson’s life of conservative values, leadership, and service to the community by awarding scholarships to high school seniors. Our desire is to encourage and celebrate conservative values in high school teens. Our goal is to financially assist high school seniors with their first year of post-high school education in a technical/trade school, community college, or 4-year
university.Interested Guilford County high school seniors are to apply and mail the following application hard copy documents by the due date of May 1.

Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund
The first wave of our 2025-2026 scholarship cycle is now open, and we want to be sure to get the word out to as many students as possible. TMCF’s mission is to ensure student success by promoting educational excellence and preparing the next generation of workforce talent through leadership development, and what better way to ensure student success than by alleviating the worries of financial stress!

Alpha Delta Kappa Scholarship
This is an application for the 2025 Alpha Delta Kappa, Gamma Epsilon local scholarship.
This scholarship is a one-time payment of $3,500. It is offered to a high school senior, male or female, who plans a career in the field of education.
- Open to any high school senior (male or female)
- Must have been accepted into a four-year college or university
- Must be planning a career in education
- Must enter information below by Tuesday, April 22, 2025, by 11:59pm
- a. Completed application form
- b. Transcript of high school grades (including first semester of senior year)
- c. Two letters of recommendation from a counselor, teacher, administrator or minister
- d. A list of extracurricular activities and honors in school and in the community
- e. A paper written by the applicant giving career goals in education, college information and reasons for applying for this scholarship

Ruby Jones Sigma Gamma Rho Scholarship
A Ruby Jones Scholar is a female who demonstrates the following: strong academic skills, good writing skills, a strong desire to pursue a professional career, and strong leadership ability through a balance of extracurricular activities, community service, and individual pursuits and accomplishments.
Must have proof of acceptance into an accredited U.S. undergraduate/graduate program.
Carrying a minimum 2.5 GPA at the time of application.

B.K.K. Scholarship
To be eligible for the BKK-STACY M. BROWN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP, the applicant must:
Attend a high school in the Greater High Point Area.
Be a resident of North Carolina.
Plan to graduate from high school in the Fall of 2024 or Spring of 2025.
Have a cumulative GPA (Grade Point Average) of 2.5 or better on a 4-point scale.
Be a deserving high school senior African American male or female student who has been accepted for full-time study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.

The Khalif Scholarship Committee Takes Great Pride in Announcing Its Annual $500 Scholarship Awards Program to Those High School Students Who Plan to Continue Their Education at an Institution of Higher Learning.

Barbara L. Herring Zeta Amicae Scholarship
This $500 scholarship will be awarded to a young lady who demonstrates outstanding character and drive to succeed.
The application requirements for the scholarship are as followed:
o A graduating senior from a Guilford County high school planning to attend a 2-year
college or vocational program in Guilford County
o 2.5 cumulative GPA
o At least 100 hours of documented community service hours
o A letter of recommendation from a teacher or community leader
o A high school resume
o A 300-word essay explaining how the scholarship would impact her life

Shift_ed Scholarship
Current Guilford County Schools seniors may apply for the scholarship by completing the scholarship registration form attached to this link. This simple registration process will take about 4-5 minutes to complete. Please be sure to sign the application to ensure that it is completed in its entirety. Students may complete the shift_ed scholarship registration beginning December 1st of their senior year and must indicate the school that they will attend by July 1st of their senior year of high school.

Eberhart College Scholarship
The purpose of the Eberhart College Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a Guilford County Schools graduating senior who might not otherwise be able to attend an institution of higher learning. The scholarship may be applied to tuition, room and board, books and supplies, or fees.

Lowe Family Foundation Scholarship
The Bill & Suzanne Lowe Foundation will award two (2) $5,500.00 Trade/Vocational Scholarships each year. Each scholarship will be for two (2) consecutive years for a total eligible award of $11,000 each.
