    In each of the works, the main character is viewed as an outsider. An outsider being a person disconnected from a group. Each character has a unique experience within their story. With the prompt below, you are to explore this concept.

    In a well-developed essay, answer the following prompt: How does the character’s Identity create or develop the conflict of the novel(s)? You must include specific examples from the novel(s) that supports your claim (at least three).

    CP: Your essay needs to be AT LEAST one page. Make sure to write separate paragraphs for each point you are wanting to make. Use a separate piece of paper to outline your essay. At the top of your paper, please put the title of the book that you are writing on.

    Honors: With the two novels that you had to read, you will be writing TWO essays. Each essay needs to be AT LEAST two pages (front and back).
