CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS

• Be on Time! 
  • Students have 3 minutes before Encore class and 2 minutes between classes to get to class on time.
  • If extra time is needed for an emergency please come and ask first.
  • NO LOCKER BREAK BETWEEN ENCORE CLASSES (without a pass).
• Come to class prepared to work with all necessary supplies.
• Come in quietly and in an orderly fashion.
• Treat property and supplies with respect!
• Respect yourself and others!
• Keep a positive attitude!
• All School Rules Apply in class (ie. dress code, PBIS expectations)
• All materials must be cleaned up and put away before you will be dismissed.
• No violence or acts that are illegal should be portrayed in art work.

GRADES:

Parents will be notified if their child has a C or below at interim time and again BEFORE the end of the

grading period.

If your grade is below a “B” one of the following has occurred:

Failure to follow basic directions, do not demonstrate key skills, incomplete assignment, or lack of participation.

Each assignment will have its own set of criteria. The expectations are introduced, demonstrated and posted in the classroom during the lesson.

STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

¨ Putting their name on all projects and supplies.

¨ Keeping up with their own work

¨ Asking for the make-up work if they have missed class.

¨ Turning their work in on time.
