I am excited to be your Grade 8 Language Arts teacher this year. I am a Charlotte transplant and UNC graduate (GO HEELS!). I am looking forward to a very exciting and rewarding year. I have a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in English Literature, and an M.S. Ed in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. I am also district certified to teach Advanced Learners. Currently, I am working towards my Ph.D. in Education. This will be my 6^th year at SEMS.

Tutorial: Monday afternoons (permission slip by Friday), B-week mornings upon request, and Tuesday/Thursday lunch.
