Mr. TyQuel Davis

Mr. TyQuel Davis is a  committed educational leader, currently serving as an Assistant Principal of Walter Hines Page High School. He is excited about partnering with families and students. His goal is to ensure that they are collectively creating success for the students.

He has been in education for 10 years, starting off his career as a paraprofessional. He later became a Reading Interventionist, Classroom Teacher, Math Interventionist, and Assistant Principal.

His academic background includes a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership from Delaware State University and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching from High Point University.

On a more personal note, he and his wife, Quay, enjoy spending time with their three young boys TJ, Tyler, and Trey. They love traveling, laughing, and the outdoors.

His decision to become an administrator came from his desire to positively impact the entire school community. As an Assistant Principal, he is committed to working diligently with the faculty, staff, and community to carry out the vision and mission of Walter Hines Page High School.

He believes all students can learn. He is committed to building great connections, and cultivating relationships with the students, staff, and families.
