Mrs. Jennifer Cooper

I'm honored to continue to serve as Millis Road's Principal where I've served for the last 5 years. Millis Road has a rich and proud history, and I am honored to be included among its ranks. Our school's core values of Integrity, Relationships, and Excellence guide everything we do. We focus on teaching the whole child through our dedication to academics, attendance, and social emotional learning.

I started my career in Winston Salem Forsyth County Schools as a second-grade teacher at Mineral Springs Elementary. I then transitioned to Davidson County Schools. There I spent the next eight years working as a First and Second grade teacher, Reading Specialist and Response to Intervention Specialist. In 2011, I began my work with Guilford County Schools as a district Literacy Curriculum Specialist. I learned so much in this role yet decided I'd prefer to be at the school level where the magic happens for students. The next year, I became the Reading Specialist at Johnson Street Global Studies and later their Curriculum Facilitator. After earning my master's degree in School Administration through the High Point University Leadership Academy, I was awarded the Assistant Principalship at Montlieu Academy of Technology where I served for two and a half years.

It is a privilege to serve as your child's Principal and I look forward to continuing our partnership to ensure success with their elementary experience as this is the foundation for greater life outcomes. Go Roadrunners!
