My aptitude and interest in Science started in high school as I learned about Biology and the nature of life. I lived in a rural country city here in North Carolina where farming and agriculture was always a part of my experience as a child.
After graduating high school, I attended North Carolina A&T State University where I pursued a career in both professional and teaching Biology, earning a Bachelor of Science degree.
My education has provided opportunities to work in laboratories as well as teach. Teaching Science gives me great enjoyment to see I am helping students take interest to explore science and to learn the value that science contributes to our world.
